Hello, Cleveland!

Why can't we get this kind of insight into any Milwaukee Bucks?

Wizards' forward (and Wisconsin native) Caron Butler is a habitual straw chewer, and there's nothing I like more than someone who is serious about something as random as straw-chewing:

"I don't do these," he said. "I don't do 7-11 straws or anything. McDonald's, Burger King, that's it. Not Wendy's. Maybe Subway, because their straw is thick, clear, with a clear wrapping, but that's it, McDonald's, Burger King....Cheesecake Factory's got the black straws, they're kind of thick. That's good quality straws."

Watching this and reading Dan Steinberg's DC Sports Blog makes me jealous--he consistently delivers off-beat stories about the Wizards, which made me realize that despite watching every Bucks game and devoting sad amounts of time to discussing them, on some level I know the Wizards much better than the Bucks.

Plague of Angels has a couple more tracks from the new Travis album, The Boy With No Name. It looks like there are at least three or four good to really good songs on the album, which comes out May 8. So it's shaping up to be a ridiculously great month of music:

May 1st
BRMC / Baby 81
Patrick Wolf / The Magic Position

May 8th

Travis / The Boy With No Name

May 15th
Wilco / Sky Blue Sky
The Maccabees / Colour It In (UK)
Dungen / Tio Bitar

The dude in the foreground Jackie Chan is in the first pong video.

My pong playing has been severly lacking as of late. Basically what I'm saying is that your mom could still totally dominate me at pong. (and German)
