The Maccabees' debut album is out in May and I'm feeling very optimistic about it. The most distinctive aspect of their music is the the rapid-fire, slash-and-burn guitar part, which pretty much all of their songs have. Here are a couple more songs.

Pictures of Audi's new A5/S5 coupe have leaked and it's pretty hot, though it's also apparently close to the size of an A6, which is a little big IMO. It also looks remarkably similar to the new BMW 3 coupe, but that's not bad thing either.



The current Maserati coupe is reasonably attractive, but the new GranTurismo is miles better.

Mini is giving its latest ad campaign the Starsky and Hutch treatment with Hammer & Coop.

In honor of the new movie, I present the best of Reno 911!. My main complaint is that they don't even include the best bit ever--when Deputy Junior led a group of kids on a tour of the jail in season one (only the first part is shown here).

It's not enough that Peyton Manning is the most ubiquitous ad-man in the NFL--now his backup Jim Sorgi is capitalizing on the pointlessness of his own life. I don't think anyone would argue that Manning's pretty dorky, but he's much funnier than Tom Brady.

I love hockey, though my favorite players have always tended to be small, fast wimps who wear visors (Pavel Bure, Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne). Still, nothing's better than an all-out brawl in hockey, especially when you get the goalies involved.
