Laura Veirs got a lot of press last year for her album Year of Meteors, but I never bothered to check it out. Then Neile posted some good stuff from her forthcoming album Saltbreakers and I'm finally coming around.

Television Personalities / "You Kept Me Waiting Too Long...(E*Vax Remix)"
Ratatat's Evan Mast did a remix for Television Personalities, a British band I'd never heard of, and it sounds like something Ratatat would be responsible for, which also means I like it. I thought TVP sounded kind of like they'd been around, and sure enough, they've been around forever.

Dungen / "Gör Det Nu"
Here's a freebie from the upcoming Dungen LP, it's not the best song on the album but not bad either.

One thing I HATE is when people don't return shopping carts in the grocery store parking lot. It's bad enough when parking spots are partially filled by a stray cart, but on a windy night it becomes a serious hazard to your car's paint job.
