"It's ME! The Interrupter!"

In advance of Youtube selling out to Google, they apparently decided to stop pulling the Conan clips that people upload. Not sure if they worked out a deal with NBC or if it's just the $1.65 billion reasons they have to no longer give a fuck. Anyway, Brian Stack is my favorite writer/recurring character guy on Conan; you'll recognize him as Frankenstein, the singing Late Night ghost guy, the "That's Fantastic" audience guy, and most importantly, the Interrupter. And for an old favorite, it's the Clive Clemons Inappropriate Response Channel:

Cut Copy recently curated Fabriclive 29, the latest in the DJ mix series put out by the Fabric Nightclub in London. Similar to the DFA mix albums, it's 25 tracks of varied dance music all mixed together, featuring artists like Daft Punk, Goldfrapp, New Young Pony Club, The Presets, MSTRKRFT, and of course Cut Copy. You can find the entire album for download right here.

Speaking of DFA, their second remixes album (not to be confused with their DFA presents albums) is now out as well. I don't listen to rap, but for some reason I've always liked the idea of Pharrell/the Neptunes/N.E.R.D. since they tend to genre hop more than most. Anyway, in the DFA remix of "She Wants to Move" they throw down a synth line which is similar to the one from the Rapture's "Sister Savior," which happens to be one of my favorite songs of all time.
