If it was up to me, I would have fired the guy for being named Dick Gizbert.

I'm morally obligated to post any trailer of a Martin Freeman film (Tim from the Office), so here's Confetti (thanks Rosa). I don't know about this one yet...but it's a mockumentary, which is a format I have always liked. Speaking of Martin, he's starring opposite Gwynneth Paltrow and Penelop Cruz in his next film.
The Confetti trailer also kind of teases you at the beginning by showing Evangeline Lilly from "Lost," but apparently she's not in the movie otherwise. Speaking of which, while watching "Lost" recently, it occurred to me that the show has one of those "Beatles Man/Elvis Man" typologies to it. Everyone who follows the show will favor either Jack or Sawyer, and it's pretty easy to figure out why. For a second I thought you could draw a similar parallel to Kate vs. Shannon, but then I couldn't think of a good reason why someone would like Shannon more than Kate. (aside from Shannon sharing a name with my sis)

Today I went ahead and purchased the latest Röyksopp album, The Understanding. Preview the entire album HERE. I had liked "Only This Moment" and "Follow My Ruin" but then REALLY liked "What Else is There?" (rec'd by Karo). Check out the interesting video featuring The Knife's Karin Dreijer HERE.

Röyksopp speciaize in remix-friendly electronic/pop music. It's not really reminiscent of Daft Punk's Discovery but if you liked that then you would probably enjoy Röyksopp. Interestingly enough, they're from the same Norwegian city (Bergen) as Annie, Kings of Convenience, and Datarock. The Knife track below has a Cyndi Lauper-ish feel to it, and somehow that's not an insult.

I've been blathering to everyone about this, so I might as well post it...the T.M. Lewin Christmas sale. If you're a dude who needs some shirts, just fucking go there. I got my order this week and 100 quid for any four shirts (25 pounds for each additional one) is a pretty unbeatable deal. I recommend the Superior 140's, and if you order from the US you'll actually pay only about 23 pounds per shirt, including shipping, because the VAT gets netted out.
