I've always liked the idea of Ladytron, but just have never been too sold on their execution. They're a band of two guys and two girls that makes electroclash with a distinctly dark, electronic, dance feel. Anyway, they've been around for a while and their newest album Witching Hour is supposed to be rather good. Don't know about that, but I do enjoy the lead single:

Paul Shirley is back, this time as an ESPN columnist. I can't imagine his writing gig will help him get an NBA job again, but so it goes.

So you probably heard a couple weeks when back there were news reports about the Arkansas woman who had her 16th child and still wanted more. Fucked up right? Check out Mark Morford's amusing take on it. Turns out Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar also have a pretty sweet website where you can find out why they homeschool all their children (to maximize how fucked up they are, surely) and a nice story about how Michelle had God find someone else to do their laundry, just by praying!

A felon requested three years be added to his 30-year sentence so that it matched Larry Bird's jersey number. Good thing he wasn't a Wayne Gretzky fan.

The BBC tells us about the top nature photos of the past year. Personally I wasn't too blown away by the falcon one.

Previously I had no problem with Alan Greenspan, but this is just obnoxious. Of course, it's not nearly as obnoxious as Judd Fuckin' Gregg.
