Hello, Cleveland!

Quick request: if you have "Delicate" by Damien Rice, do a brother a favor and send it to me. I'm not really a Rice fan but I heard the song in an episode of "Lost" and really like it. And I neither use iTunes nor do I want to bother installing a file-sharing service...

A directory with some good stuff here. I've never bothered to listen to anything from The Magnetic Fields but saw a couple tracks in there and liked them a lot. Now I know what Rosa was talking about. This one has kind of an old New Order feel to it.

The Magnetic Fields / "Long Forgotten Fairytale"

And despite what Pitchfork says, I also liked this OK Go song, which also has one of the more outstanding videos I've seen. Seriously, how long do you think it took them to a) choreograph it and b) actually get it right? Good stuff.

OK Go / "A Million Ways"

The season premier of Curb Your Enthusiasm kind of blew. The plot was very Curb-like, but all of a sudden it just seemed really tired. We get it Larry, you're curmudgeonly, awkward, and Jewish.

I've never really known what Truman Capote was famous for, so clicking on the trailer for the new film about him was somewhat educational. But mostly it just suggested to me that he had one of the funniest sounding voices ever.

From the Eardrums Mixtape, it's a chill track, from yet another Norwegian band:

The White Birch / "Your Spain"

This story about government-trained attack dolphins doesn't sound like a bad movie, it sounds like a bad TV movie.

China beat Saudi Arabia at the Asian Basketball Championships 98-10. Yao Ming didn't even play.
