I've never had a clear stance on stellastarr*...they've got some decent stuff but much of the time I find myself just wishing their lead singer didn't sound like a goddamn clown. Moreover, they don't capitalize their name and add an asterisk on the end, just to be...whatever. On the other hand, their bassist is cute. With that in mind I offer both a new song and a picture:

Far too many of my posts recently seem to talk about television, but fuck it--there's just a lot of good stuff out there right now. While both HBO and DVR will ruin your life in their own way, at least DVR gets you watching good shows you wouldn't otherwise have time to watch. HBO just seems to encourage you to watch Christian Slater movies at 10 am on Saturdays. The bad news? Now I have both DVR and HBO.



The best show ever is premiering Monday, September 19. Wednesday, September 21 the second season of Lost premiers. Then the following Sunday, September 25 HBO is having a great doubleheader: the first new episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm 18 months at 10 pm, followed by the series premiere of Ricky Gervais' Extras.
