It's good to see the 49ers' PR department having some fun...with plenty of expletives, dick humor, racial slurs, and girl-on-girl action to boot. You can watch the absolute trainwreck here. It's entirely inappropriate and offensive, which is kind of the funny part...this is exactly what professional football players would enjoy seeing.

Postsecret is a website that collects postcards people have sent in with secrets written on them. So what does that mean? Well, depending on which entry you look at, it is depressing, uplifting, disturbing, gross, amusing, stupid, reprehensible. And no, I'm not the guy named Frank who started the page. [from Rosa]

Vitalic was mentioned previously and at right I've got some of Pascal Arbez's best stuff. As it happens, someone has posted all of Vitalic's brilliant Ok Cowboy RIGHT HERE. Mulldoggey and Nina are both on board--this is a fantastic album. How fantastic, well, here are my top albums of 2005 so far:
01 Bloc Party / Silent Alarm
02 Vitalic / Ok Cowboy
03 Spoon / Gimme Fiction
04 Doves / Some Cities
05 British Sea Power / Open Season
06 Beck / Guero
My recommended tracks:
The Past
Trahison
U and I

My Morning Jacket will be opening for Wilco at a few of their tour dates this summer, including the June 24th show here in Boston. It Still Moves was excellent, and I assume they finally have another one in the pipeline given they're touring again. This was not on the last album, but is quite good nevertheless.
My Morning Jacket / "O is the One That is Real"

Saw Revenge of the Sith and really enjoyed it (unlike KevNev). Not without its flaws, but certainly the best of the most recent films. It also inspired me to crack open the IV-VI DVDs I got for Christmas, which was cool because it'd been a long time since I'd seen them. Especially the original film I had forgotten a lot of the important plot points.
