I've always liked Barry Bonds--ever since the '92 NLCS when the Pirates lost to Francisco Cabrera, Sid Breem and the Braves. Not that Barry did much in that series, but I started collecting his baseball cards that year. If you're curious what kind of pension Congressmen get, C-SPAN has details. The only reason I looked this up was that apparently there have been emails going around which falsely claim Congressmen don't pay Social Security taxes, get full salary pensions as soon as they are out of Congress, and have no vesting period. Well, that's not true.

Wow, I would LOVE to go to this...a festival celebrating the Big Lebowski with My Morning Jacket performing, just for good measure. This shit's a phenomenon...plenty of time wasting to be had on this site. Some cool fucking stuff to buy as well. Plus, amusing pictures and some stuff about Jeff Dowd, who "The Dude" was based on.
