Harvard Yale was awesome. The game? Didn't see it. But a fun ride down (highway driving, nee-haw!) with Mikey and Eli, then seeing a million people at the tailgate, then going out to dinner with the old crew--tough to beat. Realizations from spending the day with old friends:
1. If Kate and Lindsay are any indication, having badass musical taste varies directly with height.
2. The easiest people to locate at a crowded tailgate are sometimes the mini-est.
3. It is possible to feel absolutely exhausted by 8 pm of Harvard-Yale even if you don't drink a thing.
4. When you pull into a gas station with about 30 pumps, each of which says "SORRY NO GASOLINE" then it's quite possible there really isn't any gas to be had.
5. Married couples in Toyota Corolla's will flick you off if you race them on the Mass Pike and then pass them by taking the carpool lane into Hartford.
6. Some people actually DON'T like double stuf more than regular oreos (LINDSAY, ahem).
