So tonight I'm seeing WILCO at Summerfest which I am obviously thrilled about...I saw them two years ago at the Fest (before YHF came out) and then this past year with the crew at the Orpheum. Too bad it's hot as FUCK in Milwaukee right now.

I know no one who reads this cares about hockey, but I do, and my favorite hockey player Paul Kariya has signed a one-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche, deciding along with old pal Teemu Selanne to find a cup contender and play together again. This has to be the biggest double-swoop in the history of NHL free agency, and a total surprise at that. Kariya will make only $1.2 million so he can become an unrestricted free agent again after next year. I hope the Cup is in the offing.
