Hang on, let me find my soapbox...

I saw a thing on TV this morning about an LA "shock jock" who has been revealing the name and address of Kobe Bryant's accuser. While I think it's all very likely Kobe isn't guilty and I'd be shocked if he were ever convicted, I really don't buy the whole "if you accuse someone of rape you should have to deal with the public scrutiny" crap. Given how intrusive our society is, I find it somewhat reassuring that all the reputable news agencies are not referring to this girl by name. I admit, I hate Kobe Bryant, but it makes me sick to see all of these people villifying this girl. I doubt Kobe Bryant is a *rapist* but who's to say he didn't take advantage with this girl and go too far? Shit, word is that evidence of physical abuse was still visible three weeks after everything happened. Goddamn. But I guess people believe what they want to believe.
