Saw X2 last night. Friggin' wow. Probably the best action movie I've seen in a long time. It got out after the T and buses stopped running, so Sean and I walked back from Fresh Pond. We were discussing great action movies of the last few years and couldn't think of many. The only really exceptional action movies (ie great action, but also well-developed plot, some sort of depth among characters, etc) I've seen the last few years would have to be Minority Report and X2. Sure, the Matrix as well, but that's going a little far back. So if you have a shred of interest in action/sci-fi/good movies, I suggest watching it.

Here's a couple choice quotes from AICN that Peter Travers actually cites in the latest Rolling Stone...not sure if these do justice to the film, but they are amusing:
