OK, so my new obsession: the adidas Tuscany GT shoe. Background: while in Paris over spring break the boys and I visited about 17 shoe stores a day in search of the ultimate in "impractical trainers." It all started when Ishan started accumulating mass quantities of sneakers last year that were purely for aesthetic purposes--ie not for actually playing sports, hence the term "impractical trainer." It got to be such a huge phenomenon that we decided if we ever form a band, it will be called "The Impractical Trainers." My stage name would be "Umlaut" and I would be known for my short-fused malevolent temperament...but that's another story.

So I never really got into the whole shoe craze while we were in Paris, but I came back and got to thinking about it a little and since in the last four years I've bought two pairs of adidas running shoes and one pair of doc martens, I figured I'm due for some kicks. Then I finally find the pair I want...and they're nowhere to be found on earth. FUCK. So here they are, in "coffee," grey and red. I think silver's the coolest, brown the most realistic, and there's something about the red I kinda dig...
