I am thrilled with my red shoes. It's weird, I am tempted to buy a second pair so that when this pair eventually dies I'll have another. OK, so that's a little too lame to actually do, but that's how bizarrely attached I am to these fuckers. Ray got a Magna+ on his thesis, so we were really excited about that. He worked his ass off on it and it looked pretty cool from what I could tell, so much respect to Ray-Ray for that.

I'm getting pretty excited about the Iraq deal right now. My philosophy is, once the war starts there's no sense in wanting anything but a swift, decisive victory (ie no laying down the guns in favor of UN security council meetings), so I'm happy this fucker might be winding down. It's also a pleasant surprise to see Iraqis who actually hate Hussein...obviously a lot of them don't, but it's nice to feel like someone in Iraq isn't pissed about democracy.
